Book Club

Hey Guys,

I have become a very proud book worm recently and will be sharing the books I have read and loved with you. You will not be disappointed.

Today I have 2 mystery thrillers:

Final Girls by Riley Sager

The story follows Quincy, 1 of 3 girls who survived something very traumatic and horrendous, not together but similar. We follow Quincy on Life after Pine Cottage, her incident. She runs a successful baking blog and is getting on with her life until suddenly everything starts to go pear shaped and she is once again tied together with the other final girls, Sam and Lisa. Something suspicious happens to Lisa. Sam & Quincy finally meet and suddenly her past is catching up on them at a rapid rate. As the truth from the past slowly starts to come into the present, it all seems it’s only going to get worse! Epic twist that will make you scream. A slightly slow starter but speeds up massively, and honestly highly recommend it as a gripping read.

The Confession by Jo Spain

Julie and Harry McNamara are your average class Irish couple? Harry, a banking mogul and Julie, a small town girl, part time teacher. All is fine until sitting in their Dalkey mansion watching TV, a man walks into the living room with a gold club and beats Harry within an inch of his life, Julie can’t move, but the attacker whispers in Harry’s ear and leaves. Written from from various points of view we get to see why this happened and who was and wasn’t involved.┬áThis book, I blasted through in less than a week and as soon as I finished it I wished I hadn’t read it so I could read it again.

I have just started the couple next door, which Dad was insistent I read and I will add it to book club next time.

Happy Reading!
